They called it the Fog Destroyer, a semi truck rigged with rockets.
Combat veteran John Spencer recalls the moment nine 200-pound bombs were launched from one of these trucks into an installation, describing the scene as "like Armageddon, Apocalypse Now." The damage, he says, was both physical and psychological to a company already at low morale.
